As a tanker and after reading various threads, I would like to have some vehicle modules to help my teammates, (besides armor n shield reps) besides just getting tons of kills. It would certainly help tankers not look so... selfish I guess.-á Some good ideas would be built in nanohives/supply depots, bubble force field generator, or armor regen when close to the tank. I see snipers take out av guys n logies repair me, n others hack. We tankers need more to help our teammates!-á |

I think you are stepping into the role that LAVs and to some extent DS have. Tanks are the best vehicles for killing, That's your thing. If you add other skills they become king of all trades. I think your idea will kill variety and make tanks too op. It's like asking for heavys to have logi skills.
\you have skills to help your team mates but many tankers do not use them. IT's your tank. a few examples :
1) if you see a lone blue getting shot up, pop over and give him cover. Reverse slow enough that he can follow using you for cover.
2) Provide a shield for your team. Don't always chase kills but see where the team is and make sure you are near them to offer cover fire and a wall to hide behind.
Too many tanks play selfishly. I see so many hide at the back going for kills rather than supporting the team by using their defence and range to gie the team a safe advance point.
Play like a member of a team if you want to help the team..
Erm I do try to.... That's why I mainly use blasters instead of railguns Lol. Oh and dropships and LAVs repair other vehicles, while the tank help the infantry. |

Concept Proof wrote:I was thinking the same thing! I can definately support the AOE Nanohives, but I'm not sure about the AOE regeneration. the force field could use a larger amount of CPU and the armor regen a larger PG, so that the shield will be only truly usable by shield tanks and armor regen by armor tanks |
